Season's Greetings!

I am writing to you from the Santa Village. Yuki and I boarded an ocean ship this morning so we could get a look at the village for ourselves. Work has only just begun, so I regret that there isn't much here at the moment, but there is certainly a great deal of promise. I'm certain your Moogle companions have already told you of what they hope the place becomes and how we can help. I would encourage you to do so. Even if there is much work to be completed, the village has an aura of peace and good will. I would like to ask those in charge if we might use it, and expand upon it, as a place of refuge should we be able to evacuate those who are currently threatened by the expansion of the Calamity. I do not know if my suggestion will be taken under consideration, but this is my hope.

In the meantime, I believe I will transfer my belongings here for the month and stay at the inn, possibly a house if I am able as I would like access to a kitchen. As I will be assisting with appearances as 'Mrs. Clause,' I believe the role would be greatly strengthened if I were able to bake seasonal cookies and treats. If you have any recipes, please send them to me. I would be exceptionally grateful, and the sooner I can practice, the quicker I can produce satisfactory results.

Please consider doing what you are able for this cause as well. Knowing what's coming, I believe that spreading joy and peace to the denizens of this world will help to strengthen and unite them. I hope to see you here soon, even if only for a couple of days. Whatever you can contribute would be greatly welcomed.

I hope that this letter finds you all well,

In the aftermath of the Night of the Thirteen Moogles, and on suggestion from other concerned individuals, this letter contains information on a particular moogle who has been now transferred from the military prison at Esdham to Aqures Ixen with the intention of a parole pending. I respectfully request that this information is only circulated where it is most prudent to be sent, given the sensitive nature of countless others in the wake of events we have just witnessed.

For those of you unaware, Mograma was complicit in an experiment -involving a Black Crystal- conducted by Kalki, in the attempt at revival of King Moggle Mog XIV in the year previous. Since his capture he has remained imprisoned for his crimes which placed arguably the entire realm of Crystallis in grave danger.

Said Black Crystals remain a mystery with regard to the extent of their properties and the scope of their interaction and/or influence over our existence as Heroes of Light. Through persistent questioning by myself and a few others in the months since, Mograma has repeatedly hinted at information that he neglects to share, first insisting that he be at least considered for a small amount of freedom. Considering Mograma was sentenced for execution in Esdham, a petition has now been granted and he has been moved to Aqures Ixen where we might more personally take a hand in the issue.

Biggs has tasked me to prepare the particulars and necessary security measures required, working in hand with Law Enforcement personnel, to allow Mograma to be granted a measure of freedom, prospectively as a supervised-parole, should he hold up the end of our agreement.

Given my own position, not least my role within Esdham's military, I'm sure you understand this is no small task.
Therefore, I welcome any and all who would volunteer in this endeavor, to offer comments or suggestions that we might be able to deliver the level of security required -yet at the same time offer a chance to show that we are not like the one who used Mograma's faith in his King as a tool, nor are we the great scourge upon this land.

Considering that tomorrow marks the beginning of our expedition to the Continent of Ruins, there is a request I would like to make in regards to the mission. Namely, I have been tasked by Cid with procuring a map of the entire continent.

Because our knowledge of the region and its advancement is extremely limited, I realize that this might not be as simple as purchasing such a document, and there is also a possibility that one has yet to be created. This is where I turn to all of you, believing that it is in our best interest that we familiarize ourselves with what the new land has to offer.

I will share the final outcome as soon as my task is completed, but until then I would be most grateful for any information, regardless of its form, containing geographical data about the continent. For now, it remains merely my personal request, for I decided to abstain from announcing it as a formal Quest until I know more, but if it is a reward that you seek in exchange for your contribution, please contact me and we will discuss that as well.

It is of course unknown to what extent we will be able to explore the land on our own during our first expedition, so this might have to wait until we arrive. Nonetheless, as always, you can either reach me via Mognet or find me tomorrow, if you prefer to speak in person. Thank you in advance for your interest.

Hello again!

Well, to some of you, I suppose. My name is Pyrrha Nikos, and I've recently arrived here as part of the new group of Heroes of Light. As a huntress in training in my own world, I look forward to working together with you all to help save this one. I'm afraid that I haven't quite received all of the details of what kinds of problems this world faces, however. If someone would be able to explain that, I'd certainly be grateful. And there are a few other questions I have as well.

First, is there anyone among the Heroes who could look at my weapon? It came here with me from my own world, but several of its functions haven't been working since coming here. I think it may have something to do with its power source being unavailable here. My hope is that it will be possible to have it modified to make use of the crystals more common to this world. I don't have any means of paying for such work yet, but I'm open to negotiation.

Second, what is the explanation behind our abilities not functioning here? Is it related to the problems I'm experiencing with my weapon? Does anyone know if there is a way to have them restored? And assuming this is a problem common to all Heroes of Light, what can I do to help? I can work without them if I have to, but it will be a bit of an adjustment.

Third, what are Kupo Nuts and where might I find them? [It appears that the last sentence used to read something else, but it was erased and altered afterward.] Moggidon is a hard working moogle and deserves more of them.

I understand tensions have been high, and that an attack took place several months prior, but I know little of the details. Wouldn't you say it's a commendable effort recruiting this many people in a singular plight to protect the world from Calamity? Not just this world, but by extension our own, too. Who or whatever is behind this is quite impressive, collecting dozens, if not, a hundred heroes. I wasn't aware such power existed to this degree.

This god complex of the responsible party overstepped boundaries, and you're no different if you take ownership of the title granted to you by this facadé. What entitles you to think, if you comply, you'll be returned, or heroic? Or do all heroes believe what they're told? By serving, are you convinced you're doing justice?

Changes don't magically happen, and blood will spill in this civil strife against the painted enemy, but you must have already consented to that if you think yourself to be a hero.

I know that it's been a tough few months and I think we all deserve a little break, even if short. So I have opened a spa called Fairy Spa for Heroes and Moogles alike to come and just relax, enjoy being pampered by moogles (Who are paid fairly based on what skills they have.). We have treatments, and even a hot spring for those who just want to chill out and relax. If you are curious and want to come, please let me know. I know that it's around this time that new arrivals usually come, but that's why I thought it was the best time to do it. Hey guys,

It sucks that a holiday like Halloween - or Night of the 13 Moogles - gets ruined by the usual bullshit we have to deal with here. I was hoping that there'd be a costume party going on somewhere. Well, there's nothing saying we still couldn't do one if we wanted. And I for one think we should.

We'll just do it this weekend instead. Friday, November 6 at 7:00PM at the Observatory. Costumes aren't mandatory but only lame losers show up without one. Just saying. Food/snack/drink donations always welcome. I can play music for a bit, if you guys want. Anyone else is welcome to, too.

Concerning the latest 'unknown' message that was delivered across the Mognet a few days ago, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought back to the events that came to pass on the last Eve of the 13 Moogles. Therefore, I thought it prudent to request a visit with Mograma but then was reminded of the last time that I had spoken with our furry friend who still wallows behind bars in Esdham. That is, the one individual who might grant us an insight of what might come to be expected this year, or whom might be behind it, quite often demands release - or at least some sort of parole in order for us to gain any sort of cooperation whatsoever.

In truth, he feels rather discriminated being as he was used as a pawn in part of a larger game, the master of which has seemingly vanished alongside Palitutu. Circumstances, indeed, have changed.

I took it upon myself to contact with General Varaha about the situation, who has informed me that Mograma is set for execution in January. It was communicated to me that Mograma could be returned to Aqures Ixen, but that I -and two other Heroes who could support the request- would have to take full responsibility in case of any mis-dealings, or disappearances, should we agree to grant the mog a small measure of freedom in exchange for information which -I believe- may eventually be of great import to our purposes here in Crystallis.

Let us not forget, how prior to the attempt at King Moggle Mog's resurrection last year, a fair few of us had our rightful abilities restored to us. The research into Custom Jobs may well benefit from cooperation from Mograma as well, with this in mind.

Please, let me know your thoughts regarding this matter, and any ideas how we might assert our authority over Mograma should he be granted this parole.

With the new arrivals that have arrived I thought that we should do something to really welcome them. Sure we don't have a lot right now, but all we need is good company at best. So I'm inviting everyone to C-01 probably one of the bigger houses for a little welcome party~!

[He's honestly concerned about everybody -- but to be totally honest, he's also a bit bored. His leg's been treated and a lot of bedrest was recommended, and having his moogle hanging over him to make sure he moves as little as possible has kind of sucked. Where you once might have noticed Ven out and about the town every day, now he's rarely been seen since the Heroes' return.

Unless you're a fellow resident of B-10. Then you might be well aware of the insomnia keeping him up lately, if the fact that he's been busying himself during odd hours of the night with reading in the living room or cooking in the kitchen -- and looking exhausted during the day -- is any indication. He can be found around the house most hours, either inside as mentioned above or hanging around in the yard, watching the sky or observing the repair efforts of neighboring houses.

Humor him, friends, he needs the distraction.]
