To whom it might concern,

We really are coming down to the line in dealing with our threats, thus, I must ask of a favor from all of you. You see, back in my world, Magic was my "thing". It was my talent. I could do any sort of spell. Sadly, this world isn't that generous, so I ask for your help.

I was reminded of one of the skills my Custom Job could do and I would like to ask for possible skills I can use for the upcoming battle. I cannot use your Custom Job abilities, though. Jade, do you think I could copy your "Gift of Crystallis" skill? I think having an extra copy would be great.

I'll take anything to help out, everyone. I can't have too many, but this is for a good cause.

Everyone,

I know we've just gotten back and are in something of a tired state, but we still have things to do. Crystallis and the multiverse can't save itself, y'know.

That being said, we need to get back to working on the Lunar Gate. Yes, I understand that it's crystallized by this point, but seeing as we can use the Tower's programming, I think there's a crystal that can reverse it. And I am more than certain that we have enough gear from our worlds to finally get that place up and working. We need to find that specific crystal to get everything up and running.

Everyone's counting on us. Not just here, but all the worlds we've visited. We need to prove Palitutu and Artemicion wrong in that all worlds can be saved.

Modecai and everyone else,

First of all, I would like to apologize for how I acted a few days ago. I feel as though a lot of this is due to me being so focused on my research that it ultimately got the better of me.

Now, for the reason why I am sending this to everyone and not just in response to you, Modecai. Two months ago, when Palitutu wrote to us, she told me about how we, as Heroes of Light, kept everyone but us at arms length. At first, I thought it was just some sort of selfish way of thinking. But, the murders and Biggs yelling at us made me realize that it's not just that. It's way more than that.

When the Sage sent us those visions, we all pretty much made a vow not to head down that path. We've failed. In our attempt to uphold our morals and do things the way we handled it in our home worlds, people died. Zelda's blood and the blood of the other citizens are just as much as on my hooves as they are on your hands. We attacked each other in our attempt to uphold our own set of morals and we're turning each other not only against those who look up to us, but also against each other.

Biggs is right, this is a war. As much as we want to sit down and try to handle things without drawing weapons, this isn't going to stop the Calamity. It's not going to stop Palitutu and it's not going to stop anyone else who might want to harm us or allow the Calamity to come to pass.

I know what you're thinking right now, that you want to try to talk things over, to find another way to handle things. The other way of handling things gets us attacking each other. The other way of handling things leads us to that vision.

Like it or not, it's time to start being real Heroes of Light. In my world, Friendship is Magic, but right now, we need a stronger kind of magic and we can only do that if we stop putting ourselves first and put this world first.

I recommend that Biggs join us, as well as anyone else from this town to do so. They deserve to help out as much as we do them.

For Free To Good Homes: Seven (7) Experience Orbs.

Keeping one for myself, and one already went to Ib. But if you're going to accept one of these, it comes with conditions. You're taking one because you actually need one, and because you're going to use it so you can use your strongest Jobs to stand with us in the defense of Aqures Ixen come August.

If I can't cut and run, neither can you.

But now that I've got everybody's attention. I need some assistance at the Observatory, if we're going to keep the place, and if the Guild of the Heroes of Light is going to continue. Her Highness Zelda was doing a lot to keep us afloat, and was coordinating with a number of the other remaining governments in the world. I was assisting her part-time, but since we lost her, and the other gentleman who was here a lot has run off (a decision I can't fault him for, honestly), I can't do this all alone. If I don't get some help here, I'm going to have to quit at the Laboratory, which is going to set back some of the research.

No experience needed, write letters, file paperwork, crunch some numbers, but if you've got some diplomatic or administrative background, you'd be welcomed. The pay's nothing, and the thanks is less than that, but at least the tea is good.

If you're getting this letter, then the last time that there was a discussion about who could step up to lead the Heroes of Light if anything happened to Princess Zelda, your name came up. You are people who have exemplified what both the Princess Ashe and the Princess Zelda were trying to exemplify in leading us before. And you are people who other people have already started looking up to and listening to. You can feel free to decline, or to nominate someone else that you think is better for the job. The only person I'm gonna outright veto is Marshall Nevada. Even though he fits the exact characteristics I put up above, he's needed where he's currently at. Decide amongst yourselves, or pick somebody else, but we're getting a new leader.

And, before this discussion even gets started, I suppose I have to apologize to Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor for accusing them of murder.

We all need each other now. The first Hero of Light dying for real was what set off the division between Heroes in that vision the Sage sent us. If we want to avoid what we saw? We need to change that future now.

What I said to everyone goes double for you. This month would have been so much worse without your efforts. And you nearly killed yourself doing all that you could. This was the best way I could show that it was appreciated. And to let you know that we need you standing in Palitulu's way in a month's time. Specifically, you.

You're a leader, not just to the Heroes of Light, but the people of Aqures Ixen. We're all going to be looking to you when the time comes. There's not really anything you can do now to change that. So, maybe this will help you be there at your best.

Everyone,

I've been thinking about the investigation recently and I feel we may be going about things wrong. I'm afraid that the deaths of the Heroes might actually be red herrings and a message from the real killer. When Palitutu contacted us last month, I was one of those who tried to talk to her. One of the things that she kept saying to me was that she hated the fact that we Heroes refused to get the citizens involved with what we do.

In trying to solve these murders, I think we're focusing too much on who attacked us and not who attacked the citizens here and we're proving Palitutu's point. As Heroes of Light, we can die and come back to life within a week, the citizens don't. We need to protect them, not us.

I think we need to reshift our focus here, even if you think that solving the murders of our friends would solve their murders.

To Whom It May Concern,

I know it seems that we're quite busy with everything seemingly falling apart, but I would like to ask for a favor of you all. There is an area back on the Continent of Ruin that I would like to investigate as soon as possible - the Lunar Gate. Obviously, there is something there that we can use to aid us in our quest to save this world, but I can't investigate it alone, so I need everyone's help in this.

As far as I can tell, I'll certainly need a Scholar, preferably with the ability to read Ancient, and someone with the Hacker Advanced Job, since the place looks incredibly hi-tech. I would also like to request that there should be someone with us with a decent combat ability just in case we actually need it as well as someone who can teleport - I can teleport as well, thanks to my slowly-restoring magic, but I would rather have someone with a reliable ability to do so.

Please respond to this ASAP if you would like to join me with this - we only have a little more than a month to explore the place before the Calamity swallows it.

To whom it may concern,

I understand that it has only been a few short days since we saw that video, but I feel that I should reveal a few findings after doing some cross-referencing with my notes. This is more concerning the Interdimensional Rift mentioned in the video.

The first thing I've noticed is that we may have a Job that is tied in to this place - the Time Mage. I do not know the full extent of this, but I feel that this is something to look into deeply. This may be a dangerous weapon and we haven't realized it yet.

The other is.a project that is in Palitutu's Laboratory for some sort of portal into the Rift. I might be thinking things wrong, but I think we used this during that vision the Sage put us through. If what he said - knowledge without wisdom - is true, then we must have used this for something other that entering the Rift to see what's inside. I also feel that this is where the Shadows are lying in.

Of course, I'm not 100% certain on all of this, but it can't be a coincidence. If you have anything to add, please let me know

I've had time to think about what we've seen. The possibility of all of us fighting one another, the possibility of turning against each other in the name of "doing what's right". It's taken me awhile to figure out what it all means and, I've ultimately come to one conclusion:

We hold the idea of being "Heroes of Light" way too high.

Everyone expects us to be these paragons of righteousness and heroism, to be the saviors of everything. All I see are people who are confused as to what they should be doing. Who are second guessing their actions at every turn. And, just maybe, those who are willing to abandon all of their ideals and morals because they feel it's "the right thing".

My name is Twilight Sparkle. I am the Princess of Friendship. I earned that title on my own. My friends back home don't ride on my coattails - they have their own identities as well. "Hero of Light"? That's not my title. That's not me. And it's not us. The Heroes of Light were those who saved this world the first time around, not us. I think it's time we forge our own destiny.

We need to keep learning about the Heroes of Light and what they did, but I think we need to realize that if we try to be them, we'll just end up destroying each other and being used by everyone who knows of them. Do you have a title from your world? A name that you proudly brandish? Use that name. Make it known here. If we keep going calling ourselves "Heroes of Light", I'm afraid we really will end up like what we saw.

It's time to be "us" again.

I have an idea to help out with the festivities, but I need just a little bit of help. With so many of us here from different cultures, I'm sure your variations of stories for them are different. So, if it's not too much trouble, could you tell some stories about them? I would really like to tell the other ~~fillies~~ children about all of them so that they can tell others, too! I mean, if there are other figures like Santa, maybe they're just as important, too!
