I am in need of a chocobo for an escort assignment that can carry me from Aqures Ixen to the Village of Santa Claus. Ideally this would be a chocobo suited for beginners with little riding experience, and capable of defending itself in combat should we encounter any monsters along the way.

If this is not possible, then I would like to ask for help in finding and taming a chocobo of my own. I understand the endeavor isn't one that should be taken without backup as there are many dangers, and I have no desire to play the fool.

I write to you from the contaminated city of Trano Golsaucia. As most of you are no doubt aware, the threat of powerful monsters is especially prevalent in this area, and they will not be daunted by city walls. The Tarutarus who live here will not be persuaded to leave their home in spite of the danger, nor do I believe they should have to. As Heroes who possess the skills and courage to fight these monsters, I would expect at least five of you to come to the city immediately and drive off the current threat. Needless to say I will be assisting you in these efforts.

In the meantime, the rest of you would do well to search for a Diamond Crystal in order to decontaminate this area from Narayana's vile influence. Security details made specifically to fight monsters is only a temporary solution that doesn't address the root of the problem. These people deserve a safe place to live. Please make your way here promptly so that we may begin our work.
