To All Heroes
To Everybody:
Whether we've met or not, I'd appreciate a reply from as many people as are willing, especially if you didn't just come from a version of Earth.
So, let's talk holidays. Christmas, I was willing to let pass as a coincidence. Any civilized planet out there with a winter season ends up with some version of a winter solstice. It doesn't matter the time or the planet or the alien race, they've got some kind of tradition that we would recognize. Celebration for being 'almost out of the dark,' as a friend of mine would put it.
But Valentine's Day? Definitely a product of Earth, of a specific time period of Earth, to be sure. At least, in my experience. And that's where you guys come in. Anybody else, not from Earth, have a custom or a legend like this? Something specifically surrounding a holiday, something that's celebrated. Also, is anybody else reading up on Aqures Ixen legends enough to know if we're going all going to be dealing with rabbits and eggs in two months? If so, I'm calling shenanigans now.

This place isn't really all that normal if you think about it. I'm not quite sure what holidays they did have but rather than over thinking it, shouldn't you enjoy it? It may be strange but it's like it matters if people are fairly content with it. Answers will come, I suppose.
We don't have what you call 'calendars' or dates. There's nothing to keep track of the days and and hours unlike some other places and here, I suppose.

In short, somebody is diverting everyone else's timelines to save their own. Intentionally or not, that can't keep happening.
But, I'm also enjoying learning more about where everyone else is from. Worlds and times and places that I can't get to see. Such as a world that has no concept of time? It seems so odd to me. Everywhere I've been at least has a concept of days, like a local day and year based on the planetary rotation and orbit within their solar system. One planet's day can be a lot longer than another's, but the concept is always there. I almost want to ask why not, but I don't know if you'd be able to answer it. I guess you can't miss what you never had.

You do have a point. I suppose it is concerning. It doesn't seem like this place cares too much about the people it brings here.
Nope, not at all. All this technology is a bit overwhelming but I suppose it's good to be skeptical about what you're getting yourself into and how to engage with folks who come form different places. Don't work yourself too hard, sweetheart.
