To All Heroes

To Everybody:

Whether we've met or not, I'd appreciate a reply from as many people as are willing, especially if you didn't just come from a version of Earth.

So, let's talk holidays. Christmas, I was willing to let pass as a coincidence. Any civilized planet out there with a winter season ends up with some version of a winter solstice. It doesn't matter the time or the planet or the alien race, they've got some kind of tradition that we would recognize. Celebration for being 'almost out of the dark,' as a friend of mine would put it.

But Valentine's Day? Definitely a product of Earth, of a specific time period of Earth, to be sure. At least, in my experience. And that's where you guys come in. Anybody else, not from Earth, have a custom or a legend like this? Something specifically surrounding a holiday, something that's celebrated. Also, is anybody else reading up on Aqures Ixen legends enough to know if we're going all going to be dealing with rabbits and eggs in two months? If so, I'm calling shenanigans now.

Hello Jack~

Your housemate here, silly man, asking questions when we're in the same house.

It's been a while, but that day sounds rather familiar. A day where you celebrate love, correct? I was in a cage of a town for six years and I'm quite certain it was celebrated more than once. But, as for the world I came from before that... well, human holidays were inconsequential. I was out to destroy them, not mingle amongst them and their lovely women.

I don't know if Luceti was on a planet that was named, but my home world was simply called 'The Blue Planet' and nothing more. I understand this isn't all that helpful, but it is the information you asked for.

Both my home and Luceti had them, though I have reason to believe that the monsters were not necessarily native to Luceti, but from other worlds, other places people came from.

It's not unlike here, aside from being far far more welcoming and accommodating. It seems awfully unfortunate that your world has no magic. But I suppose without monsters there would be little need for it, hmm?

I'm actually more used to having the entirety of the Wind at my beck and call, so, yes and no. But even still, yes, generally speaking, I am used to this sort of 'magic', as well as means of long-range communication through magic as well as technology that allowed for flying ships and walking giant machines.

Though as I hear giant walking machines isn't uncommon to others. That cute little blacksmith boy seems to enjoy talking at length about them.

By name alone those Weevils of yours sound like monsters but, I certainly can't say without getting in their face. I do, curiously enough, recognize some of the monsters here as being very similar to the ones where I'm originally from. I'd seen them but I'd never keep their company.

None that I've encountered, no. I hear there are 'wind elemental' creatures, but they don't look even the slightest bit like me or anything I know.
