To All Heroes
To Everybody:
Whether we've met or not, I'd appreciate a reply from as many people as are willing, especially if you didn't just come from a version of Earth.
So, let's talk holidays. Christmas, I was willing to let pass as a coincidence. Any civilized planet out there with a winter season ends up with some version of a winter solstice. It doesn't matter the time or the planet or the alien race, they've got some kind of tradition that we would recognize. Celebration for being 'almost out of the dark,' as a friend of mine would put it.
But Valentine's Day? Definitely a product of Earth, of a specific time period of Earth, to be sure. At least, in my experience. And that's where you guys come in. Anybody else, not from Earth, have a custom or a legend like this? Something specifically surrounding a holiday, something that's celebrated. Also, is anybody else reading up on Aqures Ixen legends enough to know if we're going all going to be dealing with rabbits and eggs in two months? If so, I'm calling shenanigans now.

Your housemate here, silly man, asking questions when we're in the same house.
It's been a while, but that day sounds rather familiar. A day where you celebrate love, correct? I was in a cage of a town for six years and I'm quite certain it was celebrated more than once. But, as for the world I came from before that... well, human holidays were inconsequential. I was out to destroy them, not mingle amongst them and their lovely women.

Hey, this way I've got everybody's responses in a pile. Besides,
it gets Mogwen out of the houseI am a dumb stupid-head who would be lost without my trusty moogle.Ah, correct, that would be the one. But, either of the worlds you were from, were either of them called Earth, or different things? And they had humans living on them?

So, I'm just wondering where these cultural things from Earth came from, and if anything's come from somebody else's home world.

It's not unlike here, aside from being far far more welcoming and accommodating. It seems awfully unfortunate that your world has no magic. But I suppose without monsters there would be little need for it, hmm?

Ennh, okay, maybe that was an overstatement. We had Weevils, but they were aliens, not monsters. And they could live in peace, so long as you left them alone. Maybe the monsters here should be the same way? I don't quite get it.
But, yeah, no magic. Lots of technology. No flying ships, but other flying crafts, communication devices
more reliable than fuzzballsthat are nowhere near as good as Moogles. But, if we had the healing magic that I've seen here? That's something my world is definitely missing out on. You're more used to this kind of magic, though?

Though as I hear giant walking machines isn't uncommon to others. That cute little blacksmith boy seems to enjoy talking at length about them.
By name alone those Weevils of yours sound like monsters but, I certainly can't say without getting in their face. I do, curiously enough, recognize some of the monsters here as being very similar to the ones where I'm originally from. I'd seen them but I'd never keep their company.

Well, there was that one, but officially, according to the history books, that never happened.
More importantly. There are some similarities to your world? But you don't have the abilities that you do from your world? That's another question to be asking people, but later. You could control the winds? Is there anyone here who might have gotten your abilities, instead, then?
