Hey,

I've been checking out the area around the Crystal of Fire and in the hospital.  I didn't see any of the people who showed up in crystal stasis at the beginning of the month.  I'm not really sure what it means.  I have some guesses, but I don't want to make them out loud before I know more.  But there's nothing to worry about right now... I think.

[At some point during the day, Chiaki can be seen walking out of the area set aside for professional Triple Triad games in Aqures Ixen, carrying a large bag with the letter 'G' written on the side.  The very familiar jingle-jangle of a big stack of fat loot can be heard coming from within.]

[Chiaki turns to look at Terra, tilting her head slightly.]

Oh. I'm just coming back from a tournament.

[Terra glances at Tempest for a moment before looking back at Chiaki]

Tournament?

Yeah. It's a card game called Triple Triad. I compete professionally.

[greenmagick]

[She glances once more to her moogle not really sure what to make of that. Terra knows a little about the game from what Tempest told her when she first awoke but nothing more.]

"I didn't know heroes did that. Are you a good player, kupo? I'm sorry but I don't follow the game.

[Terra listens quietly not really sure what to say to the girl. It is always easier to let Tempest speak.]

I won at qualifiers with a starter deck. I've only been playing professionally for about a month, so the new rankings haven't been posted yet.

[Considering how she opened that statement and how much money she's carrying, though, it's probably safe to say she's either incredibly skilled or incredibly lucky.]

"Have you won many games alright?

[Terra stands behind Tempest letting her moogle converse with Chiaki. She remembers her from when she first arrived but she still isn't comfortable speaking freely. She wants to know more but her curiosity is easily pushed aside.]

Every one since I started playing.

[She states it very matter of factly. There's no arrogance here at all for someone who's apparently this talented.]

"That's amazing!"

[Tempest brought her little paws together with a wide smile.]

When did you learn?

[Terra's voice is quiet as she curiously watches the hero. Card games wasn't something that she thought she would enjoy though she is a little curious.]

About two months ago when I first arrived here.

You must be very good at card games then!

[The little moogle flutters happily making Terra smile.]

Is it your job then?

[line_piece]

It's how I make all my money, so I guess it is, maybe.

[greenmagick]

[Terra gives her a nod before her voice becomes a little unsure.]

Do you think.. I should get a job as well?

[line_piece]

It's your choice, really. If there's something you enjoy doing, you might as well make some money doing it. But if you don't get one, the city still provides basic necessities for us.

[greenmagick]

[Terra gives her a give nod and a tentative smile.]

Yes. Thank you.

[She turns towards Tempest sharing a quick gaze with her companion before turning back to Chiaki.]

I should go. Thank you again.
