To: All Heroes of Light
[ This letter comes in a purple envelope, sealed with the crest of the royal family of Aqures Ixen. Biggs may not reply to all answers. ]
RE: War
The content of this letter isn’t for everyone. Pretty sure the concerned parties will recognize themselves soon enough.
We got a report from what’s happened on the 03rd. I don’t know if you’re Heroes of Light. I know even less what Heroes of Light are supposed to be. But that’s not important. You’re people and you’re fighting in a war, whatever your reasons are. That’s what matters.
War isn’t pretty. People die. Sometimes people we care about, sometimes people we couldn’t give any less of a damn for. Some of you get it. Some of you don’t. On the 03rd, a great number of people we don’t care about died. We don’t even know their names; they’re only numbers on a list. You’ve had a chance to prevent more of these people from dying, but to do that you would have had to kill one of your own. Of course, you prioritized her safety and more of these nameless people did die.
I don’t care what you believe in, how things work back in your home world or whatnot. You’re not going to save anyone with poetry and flowers. If you can’t or aren’t willing to fight and kill when necessary, don’t get in the way of those who can do it. You’re being only a hindrance and nobody will applaud you for standing by some stupid moral standards.
Short version: if killing is too much for you, then stay home and wait for the Calamity to destroy the world.

You're right. If I'm going to save this place, it's going to have to happen differently than it is now. Not sure how, but I'll figure it out on my own. But, I've proved that as a law enforcement officer, I'm unfit. Consider this my resignation.

Resignation rejected.
You've screwed up. Either you run away, either you suck it up, live with it and make sure next time won't be the same. Keep the badge if you pick the later. Don't care about ever hearing from you again if you pick the former.
