To Zelda,
I had an idea that I was told to let you know about. You know that sometimes we have new Heroes of Light. Well I thought that maybe we could set up something like a welcoming committee. I'm already planning to see who would be interested, but basically they will be people who will greet them and give them what information they ask, give them a tour as well so that they won't get lost later on. You know things like that.
So, I was wondering if you thought this would be a good idea?

I think that's a wonderful idea. It would be best to coordinate such a thing with the moogles who are going to be meeting with the new heroes. I'd be happy to have people directed towards the observatory as well so that the new heroes know that this is a safe place for them to ask more questions as things come to mind.
I'd be happy to assist in anyway I can.

We would need to figure out which moogles that would be first wouldn't we? Unless of course the Mognet would come in handy, but I could be very wrong.
But that was what I was hoping. That people would be lead there for any and all answers one might have, thus why I thought I would ask first.

Sounds like a good idea. Would you like to head such a fete? Of course I'd be happy to support you in whatever why you need. We can see about contacting Artemicion about the Moogles who are sent to the heroes.

If that is okay with you. Though would you know if maybe something like a information booklet will be a good idea to give to newcomers. If it is, I will get to work on that.

An information booklet might help but I worry about what information to put in there. Some things are a little sensitive and I think they'd be safer with less copies. I don't mean to be paranoid but I do know that someone is leaking Mognet letters so I'd like to be discrete if possible.
I can contact Artemicion, who is in charge of the mognet office. What would you like me to ask him specifically?

You can ask him if you think it will help, though I do know that sometimes Mognet doesn't always do things correctly, but wouldn't it be easier to do it with people rather than always having to rely on the moogles. They work hard, sometimes they need a break too.

That would be a fantastic idea! I can volunteer to show them around the city, you know, and give them a quick tour. Back home, I used to do these sorts of things all the time, but it's taken me several months to get used to this place.
Any plans to make this official?

Well, it's not exactly giving newcomers to my world a grand tour, but I give folks lots of tips and pointers when they're confused or lost. It's not that big of a difference.

Now, you mentioned creating a committee of sorts, right? We'll first have to start off by deciding on what roles need to be filled. Some might greet the heroes when they first appear, others to provide touts of certain areas, and so on and so forth. [He added a flourish of the hand every few words.] What have you decided on so far?

I'd say having a welcoming committee to physically meet the new Heroes would be a good idea. It makes us seem more friendly.
[Not wanting to be rude, he stayed behind in case Bloom would only be in the kitchen for a moment.]

I agree with that. But so long as it's one or two people to each new hero. Having too many might overwhelm them after all.

I'm thinking of having a greeting group of about 5, and then another group of tour guides. Maybe assign a few new people to each of them, right?

That sounds like a smart idea really. It's small enough to not be so intimidating, but big enough so that if one person doesn't know the answer then someone else can pipe in.

Also with new people, maybe one or two to each is a good idea as they would have the fresher approach than anyone.

I was talking about it with Mako. New Heroes would probably show up at a place with a crystal, right? So if they don't show up here again then maybe at another city that has one?

That is correct, but the sudden change was kind of sudden when before it was always the same crystal. But it makes sense for them to arrive where there is one. So which places have one? Maybe we could send people to other places ahead of time.
