[The dictation process is a little harder than it needs to be for Link. He keeps pausing and um-ing and deciding he didn’t like what he said and needing to go back and correct things. All in all his poor moogle is more than a bit confused, and they wind up having to start over. Twice. But eventually Link wraps his head around what he wants to say, how he wants to say it, and makes Marin read it back to him to make sure she got it. Finally satisfied he sends his message out.]
To: Everybody,
Hello, my name is Link. I’ve been told this land is in trouble. Where do I need to go first to help? I’ve been given a sword and a shield and a flute already, so I shouldn't need anything else to get started right now. Thank you.
[For such a short message it took him an awful long time to write. He waits eagerly for replies, getting the hang of his new flute while he waits. It’s such a weird shape.]

Act? You're mistaken, Mr. Hero! I've always been this way! [The irony being that he was actually more serious than he portrayed himself to be, but that was a side only Hilda knew of.]
[As if to beckon the situation to his favor, Ravio lifted his hands up where they could be seen.]
Look! I'm not even armed! [And he was currently dressed as a White Mage, and their magic was purely supportive.]

He puts away his sword, but keeps his eyes fixed on Ravio, glare softening just a little.]
Sorry I thought you were...someone else.

He proceeded to go about their interaction almost as if the situation never happened. Ravio was merely grateful that the issue didn't escalate further as there's no telling what Princess Hilda would have done if she found out what could have transpired. ]
That was a close call, Mr. Hero! Courageous as always no matter what! [At such a young age too.]
My name's Ravio, and I come from the kingdom of Lorule. [Link would inevitably run into Hilda at some point, and it was one thing to challenge his safety, but he wouldn't tolerate for Link to challenge Hilda's. To help counter a similar experience, he would debrief the young hero with a need-to-know for when he does encounter her. Perhaps it was a break with his nonchalant behavior, but his Princess' safety far exceeded his own personal goals.]
Our rule is under Princess Hilda who bears a strong resemblance to Zelda. Like me, she also does not bear blonde hair or blue eyes.
[He would leave it at that for now. Aside from the original Link who had traveled to Lorule, details of its poverty were not ones Ravio wished to share, and he doubted his princess wanted such reality advertised. Although, it was a different matter if she herself chose to share that information.]

A hot wave of embarrassment washes over him, and he looks down at the ground with an expression similar to a sulk. He shouldn't have jumped to conclusions the way he did he's just been very...on edge since coming here. A quiet, muttered, I'm sorry is directed at the ground while Link shuffles his feet in the dirt, but before too long he looks up again, pointedly changing the subject.]
Why do you keep calling me that?
[He assumed it was a joke the first time, but now he's said it again, and he's throwing 'courageous' into the mix as well. The Moogles might be calling them all heroes of light, but this is the first he's seen another person do the same.]

Because you're a hero! [Maybe not the hero he knew, but he was also a Hero of Light now.] You've saved Hyrule from certain peril, right? [Without skipping a beat.] That makes you a full-fledged hero, buddy.
no subject
Why would you think that?
[He may not be keeping it a secret that he's from Hyrule, but surely word couldn't have spread that quickly. And on top of that he hasn't mentioned saving Hyrule to anyone. He doesn't like the way that sounds. Something about it just doesn't sit right with him.]

[Perhaps it was wrong of him to assume the same expectation of every Link, but he did have faith in them. Even if this Link was not the Link he was familiar with, the brief show Ravio had witness had to have been a sign.]
There's at least three different Hyrule, unless you have no relation to the imp.
[Overly informative: Check.]
