Fellow Heroes of Light.

In the aftermath of our battle with Palitutu, questions have arisen as to how we will face the Emperor. Some amongst us are following what lead we have on the Calamity, others are trying save what can be saved or find what clues those before left for us. However, Garland's defeat will mean nothing if the Calamity is allowed to devour all worlds.

We have been told countless time victory is impossible, yet evidently this hasn't deterred us-- If anything all attempts to discourage us have only served to renforce our convictions, our belief in an eventual victory. And whilst I do share this belief, time is running short.

But nothing is set in stone. Thus my question: what are your plans to deal with the Calamity?

Ms. Purana,

I might turn the question around on it's head back to you.

Would you have any suggestion to bring to the table given the evident time you have spent researching all that has gone before you arrived here?

Whether it be as a result of the time I'm spent otherwise engaged in that which I find more useful to the general population, rather than spending a lifetime pouring over what has been written before and since to no straight conclusion; I'm hardly informed enough to make a personal opinion when there is so much unknown still.

Black crystals, Soul Dividers, Inter-dimensional Rifts. These are hardly terms for one who is best suited on a battlefield than in a lab.

Needless to say I doubt it will be, by any means, an easy or 'safe' plan in the end.

Dear Sephiroth;

There is indeed much we still have to find. However, I do not believe the solution to this all is as complex as everyone seems to think. As despicable as Palitutu was, maybe she was right: the solution doesn't exist on Crystallis.

As a matter of fact, I do have a suggestion, one that might sound somewhat familiar. Now that Palitutu is no more of a threat, the time has come for us to work together toward a solution. Perhaps I should call for a reunion to unveil my suggestion?

October is never a good month for us and I have some business I need to attend to. So November it will be. I hope to pleasantly surprise you then; though I suspect very few if any will take kindly to what I shall reveal.

Dear Parasraya,

Which leaves the solution only within the Rift itself -with that already issued warning hanging over-, within the Calamity, on our own Worlds or perhaps alternatively within ourselves. Excusing the philosophical undertones, that is.

Speaking from much experience, such organized meetings never do seem to achieve very much good, either.

I also have much work to be getting on with, yet I'd drop it all in a beat should a viable solution be presented.

Dear Sephiroth;

I do not expect this reunion to achieve much good either. As a matter of fact, I expect what shall happen then to cause a divide amongst our ranks. But certain things cannot be avoided.

If a viable solution was presented to me? I would of course do everything in my power to make it come true. Not just for us, our worlds or Crystallis. But for those before us who suffered and died to give us this chance.
