[28th August] The Black-Mage Moogle Mograma
[To: Ashelia, Sparks, Jade, Zelda, Ramza, Cloud]
Concerning the latest 'unknown' message that was delivered across the Mognet a few days ago, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought back to the events that came to pass on the last Eve of the 13 Moogles. Therefore, I thought it prudent to request a visit with Mograma but then was reminded of the last time that I had spoken with our furry friend who still wallows behind bars in Esdham. That is, the one individual who might grant us an insight of what might come to be expected this year, or whom might be behind it, quite often demands release - or at least some sort of parole in order for us to gain any sort of cooperation whatsoever.
In truth, he feels rather discriminated being as he was used as a pawn in part of a larger game, the master of which has seemingly vanished alongside Palitutu. Circumstances, indeed, have changed.
I took it upon myself to contact with General Varaha about the situation, who has informed me that Mograma is set for execution in January. It was communicated to me that Mograma could be returned to Aqures Ixen, but that I -and two other Heroes who could support the request- would have to take full responsibility in case of any mis-dealings, or disappearances, should we agree to grant the mog a small measure of freedom in exchange for information which -I believe- may eventually be of great import to our purposes here in Crystallis.
Let us not forget, how prior to the attempt at King Moggle Mog's resurrection last year, a fair few of us had our rightful abilities restored to us. The research into Custom Jobs may well benefit from cooperation from Mograma as well, with this in mind.
Please, let me know your thoughts regarding this matter, and any ideas how we might assert our authority over Mograma should he be granted this parole.

It might be interesting for you to know that, when I spoke to him of the Calamity that had then been unleashed on the World, he did seem indeed not to want to have any part of that. Of course, he couldn't resurrect his King if there were no World left on which to do so.
Myself and Jade have been occasionally pushing at Mograma to reveal more information that would be of use but always we get so far and then stone-wall. We'd have pressed this earlier but it was in the wake of the Battle and it had to be put on the back-burner.
As I understand, there should be many Heroes who could be paired with Mograma in their research; a small detail that can be visited in time. As for the other Heroes, and whatever you might decide to inform the masses, please bear in mind the information that is already freely available at the Observatory. I'd rather not stir up past traumas if it can at all be helped.

Last time I interrogated him, he was too afraid of repercussions from Kalki to talk. Maybe we ought to let him know that ain't likely a problem anymore.
So long as he's compliant and cooperative, fine. He can come here. But he better not think that I've forgotten what happened last year, not for a hot second.

I haven't informed him of Kalki's apparent disappearance, but it would greatly surprise me if he didn't already know. I might have the unpopular opinion here but her presence is another loose end that I think we might have to look into tying off one way or the other soon; for some reason, I don't believe she's got anything to do with Palitutu's goals for us. Being as she did show us the truth, after all.
You'll have ample opportunity to communicate such to the mog, I should think. Given your role in law enforcement in Aqures.

I'm not holding the door open for him to come into any of the research that has been taken on since Palitutu left, I only suggested how information that he might have could well aid the same. Should any of those undertaking the research wish to include Mograma at a later date, it's not my place to authorize that.
What I am concerned with, is potentially losing the chance at information that might assist us in the future. You aren't the only one who remembers last year.
I do believe that between your officers, myself, Jade, Zelda and a few others that we can easily ensure that there are eyes on Mograma at all times; even if they might not be so obvious ones.
