[The fact that she already knew most of it wasn't the point, it was the principal of the fact that it was his information and it had already been open for all to see for too many hours already.

Not to mention the fact...that a brief skim of just the first page ascertained, a spark fired inside him as he quickly noticed...this file might well contain answers to everything he had ever wanted to know.]

You never did learn not to go through others things, did you? It's rude.

[It's a grumble muttered half back over a shoulder where Sephiroth is fixated on the screen now.]

[Yuffie crosses her arms over her chest with a scowl. She doesn't really like the implications in his voice and she doesn't agree with him. Her research is just to see what he might have done in Wutai and that does concern her.]

Rude? You could have just asked me to stop reading it. Instead of yanking me away? Anyway why do you care?

[Yuffie is completely blind to his internal struggles. She's always just said things as they came to mind which is something else that stops her from understanding the warrior.]

[With regards to Wutai, there wasn't so much in the way of detail other than Yuffie would have been able to surmise on her own. Legendary warrior, capable of felling entire squadrons of men on his own without so much as a blink of remorse. When Sephiroth is on the job, he's on the job.

Palitutu seems to have been much more concerned with events that happen in his life later on than from the time he's been pulled from and it's these events that has his eyes glued to the screen in an instant even if Yuffie is talking to him.

The words catch up though and he instantly turns his head over his shoulder to glare at her.]

Why do I care?

[He looks at her in growing disbelief that she could be so dense. His next question is no less irritated in tone.]

Why do you think I would care?

[Yuffie is growing more irritated because she doesn't understand. She doesn't understand why Sephiroth would go crazy in the first place. He doesn't seem happy about it so it doesn't make sense.]

I don't know! This isn't then! You aren't some crazy psychopath bent on destroying Gaia!

[She throws her arms up in the air.]

You are a fucking human here! I don't understand why you can't just enjoy that! And you know what? You have nothing to worry about because we fucking stop you! So it's not like you succeed!

That's not even half of the problem!

[It's out of his mouth before Sephiroth can even think, and a great deal angrier than he's generally used to speaking to anyone but given all of Yuffie's past attitude towards him enough has certainly already been well enough.

Immediately afterward, he tries to blank her and ignore the fact he just -near enough- yelled. Turning more definitively back to the monitor.]

...just leave. [Is almost sighed out, half-muttered while that familiar sense of anxiety begins to rise up inside of him again.]

[Yuffie's fingers curl into tight pale fists.]

You're such a butt! Just when I thought you weren't that jerk.

[She turns on her heel and walks briskly from the room. She doesn't see why his panties are constantly in a twist over things. He has the chance to learn what everyone has been keeping from him and he's not happy with that either. She can't understand the complications that might be going through his thoughts.]
