Mooshoo,

Cid informed us that Palitutu had files on all of us. I can only presume if these files are like the ones ShinRa used to keep, then it contains relevant information about our time in Crystallis. Anything we've done, Jobs we've held, our vital statistics, etc. Given her role, it is likely also these files contain information on us, from our home-worlds too.

Including secrets we'd likely rather were not shared.

Yuffie has probably gone to see what secrets she can learn now, before those of us inclined manage to lock our files down once more.

[This response would come MUCH much later, after Vincent's locked down his file, as Ophelia delivers the letter and is scowling slightly. "I don't envy you, Mooshoo, kupo." She murmurs sympathetically.]

Thank you all the same for the warning. I have since managed to lock down my file, although Ophelia informed me she caught Yuffie in the act of reading it. I do not know who else might have gotten to it, and will have to worry about that later.

It is surprising Yuffie has the most interest in myself. Part of it makes sense, given our recent fight and reconciliation. For all that we are often opposites in personality and approaches, we do work well together and are friends. Albeit friends that Yuffie feels are not close enough, as I am a private person by nature and she wishes to know more.

Mooshoo,

She's used to having to act on her own because it seems like no one else will. Further, while she's grown-up, she's been acting as such for a long time. Some of her headstrong nature also acts as a cover-up as she doesn't like being vulnerable. Yuffie values her friends highly, and had not really had any, until Cloud brought us all together as adventurers in our world. She fears being left-out or seen as useless. This probably drives some of her curiosity and need to pry.

Speak to her if you wish. I'm given to understand you have a family and are a parent. Yuffie is, ultimately, a fierce young woman who has been fighting for what she believes, not allowing herself to give up because it would crumble everything she is. She detests being vulnerable, and has been hurt too many times, which is why she hides it when she can. Especially being here; it has not been kind to her and there are wounds we can not see but that still hurt. Be patient, and kind, but firm.

I'm very happy she has a friend like you. I've been by Yuffie's side for almost a year now and I do understand that she hides many things. She's carelessly claimed that I wasn't her father on several occasions and since then I've been careful about my phrasing to her.
