[For those that know of Sephiroth's penchant for sending Mognet mail directly via Spencer and not via the duplication systems in place at Mognet Central will be surprised to note that this letter will come through in the morning in the usual way. Either Sephiroth has conveniently forgotten why, or this really is a message intended for all that might read it.]
This may come as something of a late announcement, I hope that you can accept my apologies for the silence.
I recently returned from Crystal Stasis, and it seems that a vision of my future has indeed already come to pass.
But, everything will be alright. I know that now.

It's good to hear from you.
To put it plainly, a recent revelation turned out to be a memory after all. I was just ignorant of it at the time. It's concerning with regard to what else may really have already happened, of which I'm unaware, but I'm resolved not to dwell too deeply on it right now; there are other matters which are entirely more pressing.
Safe travels, I hope that your expedition bears some interesting finds.

Thank you. I'll try to get in touch again when we return. Hopefully we can find something useful on this trip, but even if we don't at least that's better than missing our chance, right?
If there's anything you want to discuss as far as Gaia is concerned please let me know. I don't think we have to accept what we saw as the only future, but I don't think we can just ignore it and hope for the best either.
If not for our own sake then at least for the other people we know. And the people of this world.
We're heroes, right?

I should like to come to believe so, again.
Which is why I'm resolved to neither accept or ignore the implications my future will bring. They simply will come to be, regardless.
We are outside of that, here and as you say we have an obligation to others to fulfill.

I'm still not sure just ignoring this is the best plan either, but we can talk about it when I'm back in Aqures Ixen. Or Esdham I guess.
Just remember you don't have to do everything yourself.

It's not something that can really be talked about to any great result. As you no doubt appreciate, I think it prudent to try to keep a hold of what is left of my sanity.
I'm not sure where I'll be, at this point.
