Sir/Madam Hero,

It is impossible to make amends for taking the life on an innocent, but that does not excuse us from doing all we can for the victims of the crimes these past month. 

I am starting a fund for the families of the Crystallian victims. Gil will not restore their lives, but hopefully, it will decrease the burden on their loved ones and make sure that the dead can be buried in peace.

You can donate as you feel lead to. Those without financial means can also donate meals to the bereaved. A roster for meals will be posted on the bulletin board and donations can be received at the bank.

I don't have much, but I have to do something for all those people that suffered for nothing. I can cook stew or help with delivering the meals.

You have doubtless heard of the murders that happened last month. The identities of the murderers are less common knowledge. I was one of them, caught under a spell and forced to take innocent lives. I do not know if I can ever make amends for that.

I wish... I do not know... It is hard. I had thought I would not be able to be so manipulated, since I do not use my crystal, or that I wold possess strength enough of heart to throw it off, as my sister did. I was wrong, and it cost four people their lives. How can I live with that?

I think in this situation, the effort made outweighs the financial aspect. If you give your time and skills, that will convince the people of your sincerity more than a large donation of gil will.

I would not use the Santa Claus job, however. It spreads cheer, but it does so almost as if by force. I think we have all had our fill of mind manipulation.
