[ The letter in the envelope is tiny-- As if someone had forced the Moogle to write it all on a tiny piece so as to save paper.]

It is my understanding the lot of you saw a vision of the future.

What was the economical situation like in the future you saw? What were the ongoing trends, what did people look forward to acquiring and what goods did they disregard in spite of current statistics? Also did anyone see what I was up to in that era?

If you want to charge me money for the information, don't bother replying to this letter!

Scrooge McDuck:

First off, I'm sure you were dead by then. Take better care of yourself if you want to benefit from whatever investments you take.

Secondly, considering that we were trapped on a small piece of non-crystallized land, I think food supplies would be in high demand, but I was a too busy amassing an airship army to really notice things like that.

Actually, I wouldn't mind a steady supply of metals right now.

Scrooge McDuck:

Like a giant apartment building? Upward construction does sound like the housing of tomorrow, and that would most likely be the most common way of living then, apart from living on airship ls, of course. The latter would be my preferred method.

Scrooge McDuck:

If that's your plan, I should at least have control over research and development. I've been piloting ships since I arrived and I'm an engineering genius, just so you know.

That's not to say I wouldn't mind a wealthy contributor if I did think of starting up my own company.

Scrooge McDuck:

No, I think of you as a smart guy who knows where to invest. If you want to have my intellect bolster your finances, you'll have to keep to your promise to give me no less that half of your profits. Science is a costly business.

-Ales

P.S. So how is progress on your business going, anyway?
umslay: (i hate you)

Then you must have some upset scientists working for you and waiting for a better company to hire them.

[Ales will not settle for scraps. 50% of the profits is pushing it, but he has to reach a reasonable compromise.]

45%

40%

-Ales

[He waits if Scrooge will have a counteroffer. 10% is better, but not good enough.]

35%

[Not generous enough.]
umslay: (you're welcome)

30%

-Ales

[It's less than half, but still a decent amount for him.]

[A quarter of the profits isn't bad. Not bad at all.]

I can't say no to such a generous offer. I'm sold!

I'm pleased and looking forward to doing business with you.
