I've spoken to someone about the matter of us not receiving crystals upon our arrival as we were meant to. They informed me that we might not be Heroes of Light in that case. Or that we will have to search for our crystals in order to acquire them. We are our own to find them as they say there is nothing they can do.

I haven't heard anyone talk of being able to use their abilities from home. There are some that are similar to what I know.

What if finding the crystals is a clue that leads to us going home? Or what if it falls in someone else's hands and it's somehow connected to us?

Maybe they're just not trying hard enough! Sure some of my stuff doesn't work but it's only a matter of time, I say.
Don't get too wrapped up in his heroes of light thing, but that's just my advice. Sounds like a whole mess of responsibilities.
