[For those that know of Sephiroth's penchant for sending Mognet mail directly via Spencer and not via the duplication systems in place at Mognet Central will be surprised to note that this letter will come through in the morning in the usual way. Either Sephiroth has conveniently forgotten why, or this really is a message intended for all that might read it.]

This may come as something of a late announcement, I hope that you can accept my apologies for the silence.

I recently returned from Crystal Stasis, and it seems that a vision of my future has indeed already come to pass.

But, everything will be alright. I know that now.

Dear Sephiroth,

I had sent you a letter after we were back, unsure of where you were. I was really worried when it was returned to me. I'm glad to hear that you are doing well and I hope the memory experience wasn't too trying on you. I'm happy to here that you will be alright.

A lot is happening here.

The Blitzball tournament is happening but I'm sure you've notice the influx in people. It's fun to watch but it's making those in the city as busy as ever. There are a few heroes that I haven't seen since the memory even though I've been assured by their moogles that they are alive and well. I think the memory was suppose to strength us but not everyone took it that way.

If you need any assistance please let me know. Even if it's just explaining anything that you fear you might have missed. I have notes about the memories and the young girl who we all met there. I'd be happy to go over notes with you.

The observatory is nearly done. Since the summer heat is getting intense I've begun taking out some walls in the basement to make a bigger gym and sparing area for the heroes. I thought this might interest you for the times you aren't in Esdham. I don't know how long we will be here. With the crystal growth and it's possible fluctuation but I want to be ready.

A lot of people are making plans to explore and find clues where the crystal might reach next.

Again, I'm glad your safe and I hope this wasn't too much information. I had hoped to talk to you about those memories but it can wait.

[If he hadn't spent much of the day at the Military Airport Sephiroth would likely have been touching base with Zelda and doing exactly what she invited him to do with her. There could be no better way for him to really get caught up but- he's not sure that he's quite ready for all of the extra on top again just yet. Small steps at a time and all that.

Spencer does bring Kopula a kupo-nut cookie back with Sephiroth's reply the next morning though.]

Dear Zelda,

You were taken too? I can't recall crossing paths with you in that place of memories but my last memory before the hospital is waking up briefly beforehand. How long has it been?

That explains the commotion then, it was quite a struggle to get across the City yesterday.

I'm glad that I can continue to count on you to fill me in on the details and I may well drop by the Observatory soon to do all of those things - once I've settled a little more; it seems my physique is having to adjust again and the drop is quite jarring on it's own. I do wonder why that might be, though.

Besides there are a few other things on the front of my mind. The Airship, The Crystals, Esdham to name but a few. Which reminds me; I did request Jessie for some time to examine those Crystals which had been drained of color, I don't suppose anything came of it while I was gone?

Dear Sephiroth,

It has been about two weeks. We were in that memory place for three days. We weren't dreaming. I saw a few memories including ones I've known but none were my own. There was a young girl there and she said that she brought us there to teach us something. The heroes of light before us had created her and others like her. They are called the avatars and they might not know they are avatars. They might help us or watch us or aim to hinder us. I have more information but I am still collecting it all.

I've volunteered to stay at the Observatory so that the other heroes can go out and fight the growing crystal as well as look for clues in the places that will soon be absorbed into it. I'd be happy to see if you if want to stop by. I'm also glad that I can help in this way.

I don't know about the crystals though I had heard about it during the meeting. I can inquire to Jessie for you if you'd like and see if the others had their crystals tested. I don't mind doing what I can to help.

[If it's OK with Zelda, Spencer would like to hang around for a few hours. Sephiroth says he's got something to deal with and doesn't want his moogle there, which is not surprising considering they've been pretty inseparable since Sephiroth came back.]

Dear Zelda,

A young girl, in a garden? I too encountered the same, it seems. Though I didn't get much in the way of answers out of her, for some reason.

I just have a running theory with regard to what was lost from the crystals when their colors were drained away and I find it imperative to learn what exactly our fellow Heroes may have lost (or even gained) when they were used to feed the Calamity. It might be a key to a lot of things. Or not.

If you wouldn't mind to take this on, under the Heroes Guild, as I think it would stand the best chance of reaching out to most people that way.

As for the memories, if this information is of any use to you, my experience was indeed a memory - though I didn't know it at the time. I remembered as a result of the stasis, or at least it seems that way. It's a strange thing to think about; I know things now, that I didn't before.

I will make sure to reach out to others about the crystals and let you know once I hear back. As the Heroes Guild I'm happy to help. I'm also curious to know what theory you might have. It might help us gain some insight.

I was able to get a little bit from the girl but not much. I'm trying to get tiny bits of information from as many as I can to start piecing it together.

As for memories I know a few others experienced that as well. Genesis and Yuffie had though I can't say I understand what that's like. It sounds uncomfortable if I'm being honest. I hope you are doing well and as always I will be around to answer what questions I can.

I'd very much like to see what insights you have been presented with first, in case they might further prove or disprove my theory. You know me, I'd rather be sure first and I wouldn't want to alarm anyone unnecessarily.

I need to touch base in Esdham at the earliest opportunity, so perhaps sometime we could meet at the Observatory after I get back. I find I'm not quite ready to sign myself back on for duty yet, for some reason.

I see, I can understand that though there is no reason to think I might worry more with a theory. I’ve been worrying a lot these days anyway but it might be best to wait. I will reach out to the others.
