Took me awhile to think up of an answer as to what to do about acting outside of what we're told. Finally got one:
Just be you. We're HEROES of Light; that doesn't mean we should keep hanging out in the light all the time. Sometimes we have to be the bad guys, too! Heck, we're probably bad guys to someone out there.

Honestly I'd hoped you might come with something just a touch more practical.
You don't know so I'll be blunt. I doubt there is anyone here who knows that line between light and dark like I do.
