Residents of Crystallis,
Or would you prefer "Heroes of Light" as you're so carelessly named? This letter is not written as means to forward the overzealous need to celebrate a holiday only a few have sentiments for.
If we all share the same goal in resisting The Calamity, then I would be happy to oblige. This unified movement is imperfect, however, as not even Crystallis' divided nations can seem to agree to disagree and work together in spite of different values. I'm writing this letter because it would benefit us more to focus on the challenge at hand instead of celebrating festivities. The odds are unfavorable, but not yet deemed impossible.
The sooner we deal with this threat, the sooner we can return. Who here shares similar beliefs?
