To All Heroes of Light

Hi, Everybody!

I'm Yachiru Kusajishi. This place is nice, I guess. I still miss home and my stuff. But being a ninja and dragoon is really fun! There are lots of places to explore. Plus, I can fight lots of different monsters and I can play with the Chocobos. I really like them. They're so big and fluffy. Do you think if I ask really nice, I can take one home? I would take good care of it!

If anyone ever sees a really big guy with spike hair and bells named Ken-chan, can you tell me? I want to draw a picture to show what he looks like, but I don't have any crayons or pencils.

PS There are lots of places with really yummy food, but I can't find the candy shop. I was gonna eat some the marshmallow stuff, but Maki-chi promised we would get normal marshmallows.

Okay, I'll meet you there in a little while!

[Yuffie will wait by the Fire Crystal for awhile. She has something that looks like a ball she's tossing up into the air. She's sitting on the ground with her legs crossed beneath her and a slight pout on her lips.]

This is taking to long!

[She's just early and she sucks at waiting.]

[Yachiru managed to avoid getting caught by Maki-chi as she stealthily snuck out the house. Closing the door quietly, she turned and ran to where the Fire Crystal which took her a few minutes from her new house. She gets there are quick as possible occasionally using a few Dragoon jumps before finally arriving. Spotting a girl sitting on the ground, Yachiru waves and walks on over]

Hi! Are you the Treasure Princess?

[Yuffie nods with a smile, raising from the ground in a swift easy motions.]

You betcha! I'm The Great Ninja Yuffie!

[She smiles flicking her finger out to the side in a practiced pose.]

Shall I show you to sweets?

Nice ta meet ya. I'm Yachiru Kusajishi!

[Yachiru looks very impressed especially by both Yuffie's title and practiced pose. She nods her head enthusiastically]

Yeah, thanks!

[Yuffie moves slowly, her steps were completely silent and she barely disturbed the ground where she walks. She might be showing off just a little bit.]

There's a sweet shop two blocks down. Sides the cafe which has awesome little cakes.

[Those are super girly looking though so Yuffie makes Mooshoo get them.]

Are you like... 10?

[Now, Yachiru is thoroughly impressed. She has only seen a handful of people back home walk without making a sound or disturbing anything]

Okay, I'll remember where it is now. Oooh, what kind of cakes do they have? Do they have pastries, too?

[Yachiru thinks over the question before nodding. She thinks that is her age in human years]

Yeah, I think so!

[Yuffie just hums as if to think something through however the thought doesn't last very long. She inclines her head, ignoring the young girls questions for now.]

This way.

[She runs forward and then jumps from a landing up to the roof of the nearest building. Yuffie doesn't like taking normal ways to places and it's obvious that she does this a lot.]

[She pouts a little at being ignored but they were going to get sweets. Her pout fades quickly into a cheerfully nod and smile]

Okay!

[After watching the girl jump onto the roof, Yachiru follows as quickly as possible. While she is able to follow the older girl, Yachiru is less used to using the roof tops.]

[Yuffie waits at the top looking over the city curiously. She's not lost or anything but she does have to remember which is the correct way there.]

So, Yachiru right? Where are you from?

[The ninja princess doesn't much care for the awkward silence so she'll fill it with questions about the other.

She looks back at the pink haired girl before sauntering across the roof and then jumping one house over.]

[She balances on her heels while Yuffie looks around to find the right direction. Yachiru herself takes in the sight of everything and smiles as the wind blows her hair a little]

Yup! I'm from Seireitei. I live in the 11th Division Barracks. It's really great there. I miss it, but it's okay since this place is fun!

[Yachiru is happy to answer the questions since she is naturally talkative. She happily follows the older girl to the other side and jumps over to the next house]

[Seireitei doesn't sound familiar to Yuffie but living in barracks suggests that this young girl might be affiliated with a military and that thought alone is chilling. Yuffie hasn't had any good run in's with those from the military.]

This world is interesting though it kinda sucks... well people here suck. [She actually likes some of the stuff she's found in this world.]

Oh!

[A wide smile pulls across Yuffie's lips as she runs towards the next rooftop. It seems she's found her way. Her pace increases and she glances back at the pink haired girl just to make sure that she's there.]

So I'm not allowed in this shop anymore. [It's a long story.] In exchange for bringing you hear you need to bring me sweets. Deal?

Oh. It's a lot different than back home, but it's still fun not as fun as back home, though. Really? I found a lot of nice people. Here are some even people from back home.

[Then again, her experience might a little better sine she is a child. It does annoy her that few people take her seriously due to her childlike appearance]

Okay! What do want me to get ya?

[Yachiru nods and doesn't question it since there are a few places back home she isn't allowed to enter alone]

[In Yuffie’s case it’s because she first arrived to Crystallis as a child. It’s safe to say she’s made a few enemies and while she’s more or less stopped her thieving ways there are still stores that bar her entrance. The candy store is one such location.

The skilled ninja waves Yachiru a little closer as she crouches down to point at the store front.] Right up front there are Chocobo chocolate bars and then then have moogle hard candies and gummies that are really good. If you find any of the hard looking flower shaped candies pick them up too.

[She tries to think of more but that mostly covers it.]

Once you get back we’ll eat out way in candy!

[Moving closer to the older girl, she listens closely and looks to where the storefront is. She nods each time Yuffie lists an item and commits it to memory. Going over the little list in her head, she moves closer to the edge of the roof before turning to give Yuffie a little wave]

Okay! I'll be right back!

[Cheerfully, the little girl jumps down from the roof to the street with ease. She looks around before crossing the street and entering the candy store]

[Yuffie watches but eventually she ends up laying on her belly watching that front door. She hopes that the young girl comes back because she really wants candy.]

Why is this taking so long.

[After another minute, the door to shop opens and Yachiru comes bouncing out with two overly stuffed bags of candy in her hands. After securing both bags, the little girl takes a few leaps and lands on the roof. Untying one of the bags of candy, she holds it out for Yuffie to take]

I got the candy!

[Apparently, Yachiru doesn't do things by half when it involves candy]

[Yuffie's expression lights up at the bag and she quickly begins going through it.]

Yes! I'll have to hide this from Mooshoo.

[She looks up at the little girl with a smile.]

Want to find a place to stash candy?

[Yachiru nods and pats her little bag. She knows that hiding her bag is a priority since Minako seemed the responsible type]

Yeah! If Maki-chi finds it, she probably wouldn't let me have much.

[Yuffie's glad that they are on the same page with hiding candy. She back tracks a bit and begins leading towards the heroes houses. As she walks she's munching on a chocolate chocobo head with a smile spread across her lips.]

I have a sash in one of the C homes. They are filling up really slowly and it'd further away.

[When they arrive it looks like all the other C-homes only empty. Instead of going through the front door Yuffie opts to go around back where she has a window that she's left open to sneak through.]</small

[Yachiru withdrew a little bag of hard candies and happily munched on one while following Yuffie]

Oooh, that's a really good idea! No one would look in an empty house.

[Yuffie wasn't kidding about it being empty. This was a great hiding place for various trinkets and sweets.]

[Yuffie beams proudly as they step through the window and then walk through the rest of the house. She stands next to the steps and begins tapping on some of the panels along the floor. Two taps later and she's removing a small piece of the floor board.]

Here, I found this a few months ago.

[Inside rests a black piece of fabric and on top of that is a small pile of candy. Yuffie looks over at her young friend with a devious smile.]

Only take your though. This is also here for emergencies.
