Dear [Insert Your Name Here],
I hope this letter finds you well. If it does, I would appreciate a response at your earliest convenience, just to put my mind at ease regarding your well-being. Alert me at once should you have need of me.
As for myself, I am well, and rested. I wanted to write this before I resumed my duties to assist the civilians in the city. As I am certain I will be called to report to Esdham soon, now that the undead have been laid to rest, it is imperative that I find a chocobo of my own, so that I may travel freely between cities should the opportunity arise.
I plan to embark on a three-day expedition, from November 7th through the 9th, and you are welcome to accompany me during any number of those days. Be certain to bring warm clothes, fresh water, food that will not easily spoil, and a sleeping bag or tent. Until this time, I will likely be found assisting with the responsibilities of cleaning up and healing injuries.
Know that I will think well of you while I reside in Esdham, and I look forward to your letters. Do not hesitate to write should you ever feel the desire. If you wish to visit, you will be warmly welcomed. I will not be far, if you ever have need of me.
Sincerely,
Rukia Kuchiki
P.S. Now that I am not so busily engaged in the capture and detainment of rogue spirits, I would like to make good on our former agreement. Please notify me if you still wish to receive your date, and inform me when you would like to meet. If you have any preferred activities or meals, please notify me prior to our engagement, so that I can plan an appropriate evening.

Greetings, Manami
I'm glad you seem to be in good spirits. Have you owned many pets before? This will be my first, though it's difficult to think of a chocobo as a pet. A companion is, perhaps, a better word for it? You're welcome to come, regardless if you catch a chocobo or not, but I understand if you've already made other plans.
I confess that I have never tried riding a bicycle before. Do they have those here? I can safely say that I do know what an onigiri is. I don't know how to make it. Is there a special trick, or do you just mold cooked rice into a ball? My favorite foods are eggs and cucumbers, but I've enjoyed trying some new dishes here as well. Did you know they can make cheese into a dessert called cheesecake? I am consistently amazed at the wide range of culinary masterpieces available to us in this world.

[And because he's been so nice, she draws him another picture of their airship adventure, complete with Mercury standing on the deck and a smiling Sparks even though he's been tied up.]

Thanks for the new picture! It's pretty great! I feel like I can really remember that time easily when I look at your drawing. I laughed at how you drew in the cowboy-guy too!
I haven't had any pets. My neighbor had a bird once. It seemed really hard to take care of. But she's the really responsible type, so I guess it was no problem for her.
If I can, I'll come on your trip! It could be fun!
Rukia-san, it's really important that you try riding a bike! They are really really rare here, but you should still try it sometime!
I'm glad you know what onigiri is, at least! It's really easy to make. There are totally special tricks to making a good onigiri! But they are really easy tricks. It's even easier with things like plastic wrap, but I guess that can't be helped in a place like this.
I know about cheesecake. Rukia-san, where do you come from that cheesecakes is unusual...? Maybe you eat really boring food there? Please eat lots while you're here!
See you!

I am pleased that you like the drawing. I needn't remind you to keep it safe from the eyes of certain law enforcement individuals, I'm sure, lest it be mistaken for a future criminal plot.
I would be pleased if you could make it, but I understand that a costume party will likely be held on the day of our departure. As such, it will not be seen as a slight if you are unable to attend. Would that I could reschedule the expedition, but I mean to be in Esdham soon, and cannot delay as I will require a chocobo to more easily travel between cities to visit friends and allies.
Should you happen upon a bicycle, please inform me. I will do my best to ride it.
I suppose I had not told you what I am. Forgive me, I often forget which Heroes are aware and which are not. I am a soul reaper, and hail from the Soul Society. We do not need to eat very often, save to replenish our spiritual energy, and the thought of a cake made of cheese sounded repulsive. After tasting it for myself, I have since revised my opinion. Cheesecake is excellent.
I hope you will continue to write to me after I have departed to fulfill my military obligations. Your letters are a pleasure to read, and I look forward to them immensely.

Hello, Rukia-san!
Did you find a chocobo? If you did, is it fast? If it's fast, you should race me sometime! I found out, it's pretty fun to race chocobos! Then afterwards, you can try riding my bike!
I didn't think that soul reapers were for real, but since coming here I've seen all sorts of things that I didn't think were real.
Writing isn't my favourite thing to do... it makes me really sleepy! But I'll try to write you if anything fun happens!
[Her saying that she 'immensely' looks forward to them is pretty nice, after all!]
Let me know about racing!

Greetings from Esdham! I'm pleased to report that the weather for my trip has been favorable, and the flight was quite smooth. It is also much warmer here, even at night. It was even hot during our afternoon field exercises.
I did find a splendid chocobo, thank you for asking. Her name is Yuki, and her feathers are white. She is proud, but strong and capable. I brought her with me, and she seems to be enjoying the sunnier weather. Perhaps I shall introduce you the next time I return to Aqures Ixen. She's slow to warm up to others, but if you feed her enough Gysahl Greens, I believe she should come around. I look forward to riding this bicycle you write of.
I presented my first military report yesterday afternoon. I was nervous, but I believe it went over fairly well. I may be up for a promotion at the end of the month. I expect little, but I hope I will be elected nonetheless. I must continue to work hard.
How is the city faring? What are your upcoming plans? I hope you are in good health, and that you are able to stay warm.
Sincerely,
~Rukia
