You're asking a lot of interesting questions, but I am afraid I do not have all the answers. You see, the 'legends' are not very specific about what happened to the first Heroes of Light. They are after all, only legends, and it's the job of people like me to discern facts from legends.

The most common version of the tale seems to indicate the Heroes of Light were sent back to their world after the Calamity's defeat. However, other sources also indicate some of the Heroes did die; you may have seen the play a couple days ago. It's based on a version of the legend. The only constant between all the versions is that the Ancients predicted your return-- Therefore, I assume it means for the Heroes of Light to return, they must have left at some point.

As for Aqures, the history of our nation is much more recent. The events with the calamity date back to two thousands years ago. The Legend of our country says the Kingdom was founded four hundreds years ago only, by the last descendants of the Ancients (which would make the queen a descendant of the Ancients). But that's a legend, thus I cannot say whether it is true or not.

What is fact, is that a hundred years ago the royal family found an abandoned Castle of Ancient construct, this very castle, and they founded Aqures Ixen. With Aqures Ixen, Aqures Tosf, Trano Golsaucia and Balicea, the kingdom dominated the continent up till the accident twenty-seven years ago. Now... Aqures Tosf is gone, Trano Golsaucia is independent and Balicea is mostly left to its own device. Our kingdom has pretty much become the shadow of what it once was.

Don't worry about asking too many questions. However, as I said to another person, I encourage you to post on Mognet or meet to share what you know and maybe come with better theories than ours; we are very busy so we won't have time to answer these questions for everyone. If you could share what you all know, it'd make everyone's tasks easier.
