Yuffie tore into the wrapping with a wide smile. She wasn't used to getting presents from friends like this and she could only guess what it might be. Seeing the dark fabric made her smile widen. Like Lydia, she liked her darker colors.
As she pulled it out, it took some concentration to find the top and to slip it over her thin shoulders. Once she had the new garment on she smiled again and then danced in a circle.
"This is so cool. What do you think?" She turned and then flicked up the hood.
"I think I'm glad you like it." Lydia responded, grin widening and she rocked on her heels in happiness. "But no, it suits you. I'm not sure it's the best for sneaking, but I thought the pixie-ish appearance would be something you'd like."
Lydia really was pleased Yuffie liked it. The only bright accent was the green which was a vibrant shade that complimented the dark-eggplant purple well. Lydia was proud of herself with it, truly. Glad she could make her friend happy too.
Yuffie was happy and a little impressed. It was put together well and while she was apt at fixing her clothing when it ripped she hadn’t thought to make something this intricate before. She smiled at Lydia, lightly scratching the back of her head nervously.
“I guess this means I should get you something?” That’s how gifts worked right? Except that she wasn’t very good at getting people things. Yuffie’s skill was in taking things.
Lydia shrugged, then putting her hands behind her back as she rocked happily. "Only if you want to. I didn't make you a gift with the idea of it being returned. Besides, you've done a lot for me already."
Yuffie really had, and Lydia appreciated her a lot. Very glad they were friends, and she really hoped she'd stay safe.
"Be safe Yuffie, and yes. We'll definitely have to get together." Lydia shoots her a thumbs up, and a wave. She'll go back to finishing up her packing after this, so she can leave whens he needs to.

She turned towards the window, stretching her arms out to either side. "I should really head out. I'll see you when you come back, right?"
