I do not expect your forgiveness. I did you and the other captives wrong by not seeing you freed, and that is my sin to bear. It is your right to hate me. I will not ask to rejoin your crew. But if you care for Yuffie, you must speak with her. She thinks you do not want her by your side, and that wounds her more deeply than the blow you gave her. Know that if you hurt her again, by word or by deed, I will hunt you down to the ends of this earth and make you pay, without regard for our former companionship. But if you heal this rift between the two of you, you will have my gratitude, whether or not you desire it.

If this is the dream I think you are talking about then I would happen to be one of them since I believe that name to be awfully familiar. But you know you don't need to apologize for something that happened all those years ago.

I can't say honestly if it was him who did it willing or something to do with what was going on, nor can I understand anything about your Fathers legacy, but...
