Did you feel anything during that time? If you fell in battle, did your wounds pain you while you slept?

[This brief letter, written in a hand obviously shaking, bears no signature, but those who know Ramza may recognize Simon, his moogle, as the carrier.]

[Ramza doesn't have a response to that. At least, not now. Simon will let Zelda know that his hero received the message, and that even though he sent no reply, he had keep her letter close at hand. For the rest of the day, as he avoids everyone, he pulls it out occasionally to read over. The faith of a goddess has a great impact on him, even if he doesn't have the words to express it.]
