More Letters From Chrom
Dear Friends,
I have many items of interest to cover, so I apologize for the length of this letter. First of all, the evacuation of Nabila went better than expected. To the five of you who dedicated your time and energy to assisting the refugees, I thank you, and the Nabilans thank you as well. Prajapati, should you receive this, we are grateful for the loan of your airships. Anyone who was willing to leave was able to do so. Unfortunately, there were a greater number than anticipated who could not be convinced. May the gods grant them rest.
Previously I had mentioned forming an expedition to the Mythril Mines. This coincides with Wedge's request to retrieve pure mythril and crystals to prepare us for whatever confrontation Palitutu intends to have with us. Tentatively we should leave sooner rather than later, so I suggest we begin tomorrow, June 7th. We should have plenty of time to gather supplies and assemble up north. Though this particular quest was assigned to Ales, Santa, and Miss Alice, others who exhibited interest are more than welcome. I will be bringing my specialty "toy bag" that will allow us to carry a great deal more than usual, so we should have plenty of ore to satisfy Wedge.
Lastly, I will be assuming responsibility for the Hero Training facility here in Aqures Ixen. I understand a very strong warrior was formerly in charge before slipping into crystal stasis. I hope I can preserve her legacy. I am primarily trained with the sword in matters of combat, but I would be happy to offer any other combat training as requested. Please contact me whenever you wish for a session. Civilians are welcome to train with us as well, if the desire is present. Knowledge of defense and combat is rarely unnecessary, particularly in a world such as this. If you would like to participate as an instructor, please notify me, and I will ensure that you are enrolled in the staff.
Your Ally,
Chrom
P.S. As thanks for your assistance with Nabila, the citizens wished to present each of us with a Magitek Armor. I refrained from informing everyone at large, as we prioritized the moving of civilians over military equipment, and there are not many that were transported as a result. But there's one for each of you, should you wish it.
[OOC: The mythril mine expedition will lead to a corrupted Eidolon, so if you want to fight that thing, you'll want to sign up for this!]

I commend you for your efforts in regards to taking on the Hero Training facility that Ms. Armstrong invested her effort in before sadly succumbing to the stasis that has yet claimed so many of us.
I should have to make a point to drop by, perhaps even for a friendly spar, the next I am in Aqures Ixen.
Yours,
Sephiroth

Dear Sephiroth,
Thank you for your commendation. I'm not certain how much credit I can claim, as it was Ms. Armstrong's idea. It seemed a shame to let the facility go to waste, however, particularly given our current state of affairs.
I look forward to your visit. It has been too long since I've had sufficient reason to unsheathe Falchion.
Sincerely,
Chrom

Well, well, well! Wedge just asked me to travel to the Mythril Mines in search of crystals! I may as well equip my Alchemist Job to help with converting any monsters we fight into energy crystals, seeing that I may be the only one able to do so out of us four. Plus, that bag of yours will be handy!
I will see you on the 7th~

Thank you for writing to me. I have heard your name a few times, but I don't think we've met in person quite yet. I look forward to a more personal introduction in the near future.
Have you been in the mines before? I was not anticipating any monsters, but it does seem there are few places in this world that lack such things. I commend you for your preparation in any case, and I'll make certain I bring my sword along with my pickaxe.
May fortune favor us on our journey.
Sincerely,
Chrom

I haven't visited there, no. My place is normally among the airships and in the labs which leaves me very little time to go exploring underground. I can try to do a bit of digging, but my physique doesn't do well with heavy lifting.
It's worth mentioning that I'm a Teensie, not a human. I'm about the size of a Tarutaru and look a bit like this:
I can inspect the materials and draw maps of the mines while you work.

Dear Ales,
It's quite all right. Whatever you're able to contribute will be welcome. Work at the pace that is most comfortable for you, and feel free to request assistance should you need it. I will give my help gladly.
Maps of the mines would be exceptionally helpful. I would not wish for us to get lost in such a place. You have my thanks.
Sincerely,
Chrom

It really is a busy week for us Heroes, isn't it? I'm too busy to help out with exploring the mines, but I'd be more than happy to be an instructor in martial arts at the Hero Training facility.
Sincerely,
Dister

Your expertise would be most welcome. I've heard much about the art of fighting without the use of weapons, but have yet to witness such feats personally. I may stop in to observe a training session, if you and your students have no objections. I wish you luck in your other duties.
Sincerely,
Chrom

I don't have any students yet, but I can ask around. I was thinking more along the lines of showing up and taking volunteers, but I'd be more than glad to give out any pointers.
I'll see you next week.
Sincerely,
Duster
