To Everyone:

My name is Aya Brea. I don't know many of you, and I don't expect many of you to know me. I can't imagine that I've made that great of an impression on some of those of you who do, but I should say this.

That person that many of you saw me as was not me. I am not the commander of an army - I don't even consider myself to be that much of a leader. Back home I was a special agent of the FBI just trying to survive, and here I suppose I'm finding myself trying to do the same thing. I have family and friends back home that I care about deeply, and would do anything to try and protect them. This is all I want. I'm sure some of you may feel the same way about the lives they've left behind.

It is easy for people to trust their friends after what happened, but I understand that not many of you know me well enough to say that I can expect the same. After all, I just got here. On one hand it's only been a few weeks since I arrived, and on the other it sometimes feels that I've lived those two years, but again, that is not me. That is not who I will choose to become.

Whether you believe me or not is up to you.

I would assume the city is in a decent state. It's probably the most well-guarded place in the world, apart from the Heran empire.

I imagine it's probably not a term that's often used that much among pirates. I've found myself having to be that person all too often, so I don't mind. I don't mind bars themselves that much, either. Some of them actually have really good food.

Yes, it's important to keep your skills sharp. What kind of weapons do you use?

Guns mostly, but I'm also well-versed in the tonfa baton for mostly non-lethal uses. What about you?

I carry a small shield and a transforming weapon that can be used as a short sword, a spear, or a rifle.

It's been half a year since we were invaded, three since we had a giant marshmallow stomp around. We seem to attract city-wide disasters, but we always manage to drive them off in the end. You should have seen it in August! Districts burned down, homes destroyed, so many casualties: it's incredible how far we've come since then!

Well, with you on our side, I'm sure we can do a better job at keeping Aqures Ixen safe.

Aye they can. Even some of the ones that look the least like they'd have a good kitchen can still keep the sailors well fed. Those tend to be good ones to learn a thing or two about what's going on in this world.
