Everyone,
I'm writing from Balicea and I do apologize if the following sounds like a crazy idea. I realized if we are to save our fellow captive Heroes, we're going to need a mode of mass transportation. Skyships are good and all but I suspect the Empire would expect that from us. That is why I'm down here. I managed to convince the locals to rent two of their bigger boats for us. It was costly but nothing I couldn't handle provided we return them intact in the end.
We can use the boats to stow away any weapons and items we'll need if we butt heads with the Empire. I should have the boats docked at the coast west of the Chocobo Farm in a day or so. While celebrations are going on, I'll stay with the boats until we can confirm where they're keeping our friends. If anyone else would like to join me with manning the second boat or has any questions, please feel free to write back. Should my position be comprised, I'll make sure it'll not be linked to the rest of you. Be safe everyone.

P.S. Please make sure my moogle Brigid gets plenty of water and rest. Poor girl is probably running herself thin with this task I gave her. I've helped her copy this letter several times but the word must be spread. If your moogle can help too that would be great but do not let this letter go through Mognet Central for obvious reasons. If this goes on successfully, I'll make some Kupo Nut treats when this is over.
[ooc: Saori's copied a page of Sephiroth's book and has her moogle going to several heroes she knows directly and hopefully other moogles will be willing to help her deliver the message privately and urgently.]

Saori -
This is what we needed to do. I'll make sure everyone who's coming on this trip gets moving down to Balicea.
We'll wait on word from the team going out to speak with the Empire, but I really doubt that's going to fly. So once we get word from them, we'll sail out. Be ready for anything and everything.
I flew Mercury out to the research island to see what the place was like. Totally quiet on the outside. No guards. Nowhere to dock the boat that they ain't going to be seen. They're going to know we're coming.

Got it. I'll try get the ship stocked up while I wait then.
Given their track record, we'd have better luck winning the lottery.
In that case, maybe one of us might have to stay back in case security does find out. I'd rather not get our Moogles dragged into combat if necessary.

Saori Nakagawa,
It's good to see an example followed.
Please allow me to take this opportunity to wish all of those that are going with you the very best of luck in getting through to the prisoners. I don't know so much of the particulars of the plans as they have been finalized but together as Heroes we can once again demonstrate to this World that we are to be taken seriously.
That said, please do all try to come back in one piece. There is no need to emphasize how the actions taken on this particular mission may have resounding effects throughout Crystallis.
Take care, all of you.
